Spotted this old chestnut whilst spending a penny in the Hootenanny toilets last Friday and thought it deserved a wider audience.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m always game for a bit of piss-taking but personally I’d have checked to see if there actually was a “proper turntable” or even “some records” in the photo before writing my witty take-down. Not only are there in fact two of each on display but ironically if I wasn’t playing records, there probably wouldn’t have been half as many skipping tracks on Friday night. A wicked session despite the hiccups, in fact almost as good as the detail on that arrow going through my head – bravo.
