Ringin & twistin…

It’s been about 2 years since I first heard about Twisting The Frame and just as it had all but slipped my mind, my good friend Long Distance Dan showed up with the finished article and a link to the free zip for all to enjoy, and I did say free. Hidden amongst a stack of freshness from the likes of Buddy Peace, 2Tall and Herma Puma, you can hear a track I made over 5 years ago featuring the vocal talents of Sarah Wayne, pushing the already blurry boundaries of hip hop which loosely binds the comp together. As I said before, it’s FREE from Myuzyk so there’s no excuses - grab grab grab
I also just received the finished copy of Pama Intl’s Highrise Campaign which is looking and sounding rather nice. It features, versions, dubs and remixes from the likes of Billy Bragg, Dennis Alcapone, Jimmy Screech, Mungo’s HiFi and me of course, plus I edited it all together in a counteraction fashion. For more info check out Rockers Revolt and for the Londoners you can get a copy with your ticket into the Rockers Revolt Xmas Party @ Jamm In Brixton on Dec 20th.
There’s more seasonal party action on Christmas eve if you happen to be near Oxford as I’m once again joining Skylarkin Soundsystem for their now legendary yuletide barn dance @ the Zodiac on Cowley Rd, and if that’s still not quite enough Santa friendly action you can always head over to Mr Trick’s site to download the first half of our Trick n Tom Christmas special where you can hear 2 not so wise men waffling away between some of the best or possibly worst xmas songs ever committed to wax.
