25 Days Later…

Barely a month has passed since Slime & Version hit the shops and word from the shelves is Mr Manuva and I have been shifting units – it looks like they’ve sold out all over the land but no doubt there’s a few here n there if you look hard enough. Kind words and approving nods have come from a smörgåsbord of movers and shakers from Eddy Temple Morris to ID magazine with further props coming in from LA to Stockholm. There’s hopefully more news to come on the Big Dada front but not before I’ve finished remixes and dubs for the likes of Easy Star, Tru Thoughts and further work for Rockers Revolt – I’m just about to mix together Pama Intl’s new mini LP featuring guest appearances from Michie One, Dennis Alcapone and Jimmy Screech who laid down a wicked vocal only yesterday.
I’ve got a hectic weekend ahead with the opening night of Skylarkin Soundsystem’s new North London residency at The Big Chill House in Kings cross but not before I’ve dropped in on Atomic Hooligan’s new night Fools Tools just up the road at Surya. The following evening I’ll be dragging my record bag up to Milton Keynes for an after party at Sno!zone alongside the likes of Utah Saints, Dj Woody and Atomic Hooligan for a 2nd time in one weekend. So If you happen to be in the area for any of that, dig out your purse and come shake a leg.
