It’s very possible that a trip to your local newsagent this week could secure you a copy of the latest Stoneleigh Mountain Rockers offering as the good people of Love Music Hate Racism have cobbled together a comp of current bands and artists supporting the backlash against the BNP and national ignorance towards race relations. The CD will feature a whole host of acts from the cream of uk indie, grime etc and it’ll be free on the cover of this weeks NME. I have to admit that the only confirmation I have that my rockers rendition of Hard-Fi’s “We Need Love” made it onto the CD is an email from their manager which simply reads “it should have done!” but it was made especially for the issue so go have a look for yourself when it hits the shelves in the next day or so.
