Last night a Dilla saved my life…

I was up late recording last night when i read the sad news about J Dilla passing. i’d just been listening to a couple of tracks off fantastic II looking to bite that hi hat flutter and make the beat feel less mechanical.

Dilla breathed life into hip hop and beyond – a sad loss.
